Diagnosis and Interventions
Type 2 diabetes is usually diagnosed by different types of blood glucose tests measuring how the body processes drugs in various scenarios:
Random blood sugar
Fasting blood sugar
Oral glucose tolerance test
Type 2 diabetes is treated by lifestyle changes including healthy eating and exercise, and in some instances medication or insulation therapy. Common medications include, but are not limited to: Metformin, Sulfonylureas DPP-4 inhibitors and GLP-1 receptor agonists
